Flowers for Food raises funds for Food Cupboard

The 6th annual Flowers for Food fundraiser events were concluded with a presentation to the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Cupboard. Pictured are the board members l-r: Dolores Turmel, Chairman Ray Bryant, Eric Tompkins, Martina Eastman presenting checks to Linda Ouellette, treasurer, Mariette Castonguay, and Patty Ouellette. Absent was Margaret Emery. Locally cut daffodils were sold for donation at A Serendipity Moment, Otis Federal Credit Union and Food City over several weeks, with proceeds totalling $1762. Eastman wishes to thank these supportive businesses, as well as the Chuck Wagon and LaFleur’s restaurants and all the generous donors who helped make this possible. Marcel Castonguay’s memory was kept alive for many who knew and loved him.
