LIVERMORE FALLS — The Maine Real Estate Network, with 22 offices and 523 real estate professionals throughout Maine, now has an office at 42 Church St. in Livermore Falls.
On July 25, a ribbon cutting and open house was held to celebrate the new office. It is located at the former Maine-Land Development Consultants office.
“I’ve found since the school consolidation we’ve had younger families moving here because of the school,” said The Maine Real Estate Network sales agent Kenny Jacques. “We’re in the perfect spot here to be a bedroom community. We’re close to everything.”
He said the area has Spruce Mountain Ski Slope, places to eat and shop, and the Androscoggin River with its recreational opportunities.
“I love living here,” said Jacques, a Livermore Falls resident.
Jacques has dabbled in real estate in the past, and has worked at Ski Depot in Jay. He reflected on the differences in real estate now from when he first got his license.
“Real state has evolved,” said Jacques. “Most everything is through the internet. Everything is online.”
Loni Graiver, owner of The Maine Real Estate Network, said he was pleased another office was opening in the western Maine region.
“The area needs and wants a real estate agency with the best technology and highest trained professionals,” he said.
And, The Maine Real Estate Network is ensuring the money stays in Maine, said Graiver.
After the ribbon cutting, Jacques took guests on a tour of the building. In addition to being the site of Maine-Land Development until its office moved to Murray Hall in Livermore Falls, it was a home many years ago.
